[Worldwide Koi Club] I Think I Need Advice

Hi Don. I couldn’t figure out where you’d gotten to when I first posted the problem and didn’t hear back from you. I thought you were away on vacation or something. Anyway, I’ll look for the gel medication, but I have one important question. How does one sedate a huge koi? What does one do to get it to sleep?
I’m so sorry about your computer woes, and I know just how you feel about recovering data that might have been lost. Back in ‘03 - ‘04 I was working on a book with a friend of mine at the University of Nebraska. We shared the writing but I was the one responsible for the editing and, well, you guessed it. Fifty pages from the end my hard drive crashed and (yep, you guessed this part too) I hadn’t made a back-up. All he had were his originals along with a copy of my work so I had to re-edit his entire section all over again. Sigh . . .
In any case, if you tell me how to hypnotize my little submarine into torpor I’ll gel his ulcer and see what happens. Do you have any idea why none of the other fish succumbed to this?
Take care and tap when you can.
Sincerely, Brenda
