Hi Brenda. I know what your talking about when you say that you have to have some large rocks in your pond because of the high water table, it was the same thing with us. In the spring we had so much water under our liner because the water from our neighbourhood drained into our yard. Once they got a good sewer going, we never had water build up in our yard or pond again. Actually, I was talking to someone the other day who also had the same trouble and they had to use rocks also. The thing about the larger rocks though is the fact that at least your able to remove some of the debris from around them. It’s not like you have a whole bunch of them along the bottom. Especially those small stones that cover the bottom. That is so dangerous.
