Waaaaaaay to high!
Right. I have two tanks. One is a 12 inch, which because of its relatively small size can not fit a filter or heater. However, that sits in my bedroom which most of the time is above 20 degrees so is fine. In that I have 1 male betta. Hes been in there over 12 months now with no problems. The second tank I have is slightly smaller, and holds 1 female betta, 3 leopard danios and a tiny catfish. Again the tank is too small for a filter or heater, but remains above 20 degrees. And this is the one I had the ammonia spike with.
