[UniQuaria] Relocating a 60 gallon tank


Sissy, common belief in the fish community is never move a tank with anything in it - remove gravel and water. The idea being to reduce strain on all the seals.
You must have not had any problems with tanks leaking after being moved with gravel.
Do you think the newer tanks that are sealed with silicone just hold up better than the older tanks (say 20 to 40 years old)?
What kind of surface to you rest you great big, very heavy tanks on: styrofoam, heavy duty cardboard, heavy plastic sheeting, a very flat smooth wooden surface?
Do you use a level?
