[UniQuaria] Re:JULIE - Dying Fish, Cycled Tank, Red Gills?

I have canister filters on the tanks 29 gal larger filled with just the pads and ceramic medias, no carbon. The tanks 20 gal & small have either an aquaclear with foam & ceramic media and a prefilter or just a sponge filter in the smallest tanks.

I think all of my tanks are in this range. I do make sure to buy plant friendly bulbs such as 6500 K spectrum to 10,000 K. I use timers on the lights to keep the light periods around 8-10 hrs a day.
Java moss & java ferns (regular, windelov, narrow leaf is a little more demanding) do well in low to moderate light. Anubias is a nice slow grower. I have had good luck with amazon swords and with some crypts. Floating plants such as water sprite can do well as well.

I have glass tops on most but a couple have the plexiglass tops. I don’t see much of a difference in the plants.
