[UniQuaria] New & Question-African Cichlid/4 species
Lana, I have haps, Peacocks, Mbuna, and Frontosa. Different tanks though. The Frontosa can get along with many cichlids as long as they are not small enough to be eaten, but then again the Frontosa get BIG. I have a bunch in a 100 gallon tank right now. A 55 would be too small for four of them. A tank full of peacocks is beautiful, just make sure you do not mix species unless it is an all male tank. No one wants a hybrid peacock. You cannot tell the females apart and they easily crossbreed. -Mike n a message dated 6/26/2008 8:54:34 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, bollers@telusplanet.net writes:
I was told that all the cichlids I have chosen would be fine together. But not to add the Mbuna species as they are to aggressive. But Haps and Peacocks are okay to mix.
