Some say they’re not good for fry, some aren’t good for plants, some aren’t good for scaleless fish or invertebrates (like copper). It seemed like salt and extra heat were a lot safer all around. I’m also not particularly interested in my tank being dyed blue or green.
I’ve done about a 1/3 water change and am allowing the temperature to go back down to normal. I guess I’ll see how things look on Monday.
