[UniQuaria] Getting Corydoras Hadrosus to Breed
Al, the key to breeding corys is to feed live foods for about two weeks and then do a cool water change every other day. They will and do breed in community tanks but the problem here is the other fish eat their eggs and if you could place them in a smaller tank alone and feed live foods for a few weeks and then begin the every other day water change. It may take a few days before spawning but it will happen and they do love live plants in their tanks. Wilma

I only have 4 of them, 1 female and 3 males, in a 55 gallon tank with 2 bushynosed plecos, and like thirty guppies. I saw one method that suggested doing a 20% water change every day with rainwater, but during this california summer there is no rainfall. Does anyone have any suggestions or has anyone had any success breeding this species? Thanks
