All fish eat fry, if enough live plants or hiding places some fry manages to escape. The law of nature here. wilma

Thanks, -Mike Al, the key to breeding corys is to feed live foods for about two weeks and then do a cool water change every other day. They will and do breed in community tanks but the problem here is the other fish eat their eggs and if you could place them in a smaller tank alone and feed live foods for a few weeks and then begin the every other day water change. It may take a few days before spawning but it will happen and they do love live plants in their tanks. Wilma
