[UniQuaria] Digest Number 5850

I will be honest i have it greatly overstocked with 7 fish but water quality isnt an issue. I know what is correct when it comes to goldfish. However i actually have less fish now than what i started out with.

I already know where I want to place my ten gallon tank it will be in a good viewing spot and out of direct sunlight as well. I may even place it on my aquarium stand for a ten gallon tank I have been using to store extra tank water… I am aware that all my bettas may end up being on my dresser but at least the would get a good view too…  and since I recently started growing marigolds and cosmos flowers.. I save their waste water to water my plants.. (I believe it provides some benefit).. anyways Is it a good method of moving my goldfish by placing them in a bucket of their tank water? I will be moving intown and only about 5 minutes driving distance.. I would really appreciate it.. > Back to top > Reply to sender > | > Reply to group > | > Reply via web post > Messages in this topic > (2) > 1b. > Re: preping for a move > Posted by: “Deenerz@aol.com” > Deenerz@aol.com >   > deenerzz > Mon May 26, 2008 3:53 pm (PDT) > Hi Kelly, > Yes, aside from the bucket sloshing water about, it is a good method. I suppose it won’t be too rough of a ride for 5 minutes and it will probably be fine. > Now on another topic you are probably going to hear a lot people posting about keeping goldfish in a ten gallon tank(if I read your post correctly). > A single common goldfish will need a?very large tank in a very short period of time.
