Transporting Koi
As for transporting Koi we do a lot of this and find that double bagging with oxygen and placing the bag in styrofoam coolers works the best. If there are open spaces between the bag and side of cooler fill it with bubble wrap or plastic bags so the fish bag sits snug. The more “sloshing” around the fish does the more bruising and damage you can do. The ice packs is also a good idea to place along the sides of the bag.
As for the air pump that plugs into your lighter….we live in Ontario Canada and purchased ours at a Canadian Tire.
