I can’t tell you what the fountain pump was my husband suprised me with it a few years ago( a beckett maybe).. we had it on a elevated stand in the pond about 2 feet underwater and 3 feet above the bottom. It had ran constanly for 2 years even through the winter, I live in upstate ny so we were suprised it didn’t start to lose water pressure at 20 below zero My question is the cal pump I am looking at a sump pump? I thought it was a pond pump — cal pump 5500gph or the torpedo pump 10,000 gph can these be used as a fountain pump ? Or is this not a good idea thanks for the ideas for the cage container Rebecca
