Tetra Whisper In-Tank Installation Question
Well, I started filling the tank tonight… got it to within 1.75″ of the black top and now I have a question about the Whisper In-Tank filter I’m using.
I assume the lip of the Whisper has to be over the water - is there a minimum distance the lip should be from the water? With the waterline where it is the filter lip is barely 1/8″ above the water. I can change the height of the filter by putting the hook on a different setting, but then it will interfere with the hood and I’ll have to cut out part of the hood. So is 1/8″ enough or is there a minimum distance for the lip to be above water?
