Starting a tank
Hello,
Just joined your group. I am starting a tank but I want to use a sand bottom rather than a gravel or rock bottem. I live in an area with a lot of sand. I am probably going to use the ground sand and I want to use live plants as well. I have not really decided on the fish I want to get yet but I know I want a variety of fish. My tank is a 29 gallon tank that came with the filter and such. I want this to be only a starter tank for me and eventualy transfer the fish to a larger tank. So I want this to be only the beginning. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone sees any problems with using the ground sand please let me know. Thanks everyone. I look forward to an enjoyable time with my new hobby.
