Snail snafu
Yes Lenny that is what it looks like. It mostly happens to the larger snails. It is probably like mentioned, the bigger foot making it have more of a suction and the snails being sucked in. I have had to pull the snail (shredded) out of the intake. Not nice believe me. So I have put pre filters on my intakes. I have so many mystery snails and they just keep breeding. I actually just took about 15 clusters out of my tanks as I’m being over loaded with them. Anyone need snails?? lol I took 40 large ones into the lfs the other day and I will be taking more large ones to another possibly on Friday. I’m also in the process of shutting down some tanks to save on my electric bill and have to figure out where to put them all. Plus I’m selling fish. So far just to the lfs, but I may put some up on aquabid.
