[AquaticLife] It’s pah-tee time! Except for otos

You could try the egg white mix I was using for my hillstream loaches (all the other fish loved it too, so if you have guppies too it might just be food for the guppies, LOL). I took a flat rock like you’d find for landscaping and I washed it really good […]

[AquaticLife] It’s pah-tee time! Except for otos

That’s one of the reasons I had trouble keeping them alive too… Maybe try feeding closer to night time? I’m not sure if they are nocturnal or not.

It’s pah-tee time! Except for otos

If you aren’t an otocinclus. I bought four of them, all doing great so far. Only they’ve got three-quarters of an algae wafer, in four pieces, and a shrimp pellet, pretty much along the entire front of the tank - and every OTHER fish in the tank is swarming over them. […]

Angelfish laying eggs

I agree about computers being like socks, LOL. I get computer withdrawls if mine is out of commission for awhile. As far as a comparison between Angel’s and Ram’s… My Angel’s remind me of sharks, they lay in wait for their prey, I sometimes imagine the “Jaws themesong” playing when they’re hunting for […]

Angelfish laying eggs

With all due respect my friend, I don’t think that anything could replace those rams right now!  The reason, like most things with me, is simple.  No knowledge of them plus their compact size.  Angels are not really that demanding and are beautiful to watch swimming, they are very graceful.  Their swimming habits always […]

OK got the angelfish photo!

Your confirmation that the small white spots on this fish look more like salt or sugar sized granules sprinkled on the fish indicate that the fish indedd does have Ich — and you should consider proceeding as per suggestions I outlined in my previous post. The odd-shaped wound near the […]

Newbie with a fungus problem? Q FOR RAY

Lowering the water level will help increase the aeration as the outflow from your filter will have a further distance to fall, and while helpful, may not necessarily create near as much surface circulation as would an airstone.
I do not understand what you’re saying. What does using Amquel+ or its […]
