I didn’t destroy anything, it was given to me by the previous owner of the 125 gallon tank, she was going to throw it away so I said i would take it off of her hands, figured it may come in handy some day

OK. If the crushed coral is raising it up from the 33ppm range to the 75ppm range, then you are probably going to be OK.
Crushed coral can/should raise both since crushed coral is supposed to be calcium carbonate also.
