Selling aquarium, besides craigslist where can I advertise?

I’ve posted on craigslist but haven’t gotten a response. I didn’t exactly see a place on here to sell, and I’m wondering where else I can post? I don’t want to pay to advert in a newspaper, etc.
I have a 65 gallon freshwater aquarium with all the equipment needed, it’s a very clean […]

white scum on water surface

I have a 75 g. planted freshwater tank, established for years. Suddenly about 2 weeks ago, a heavy white scum formed on the water surface. The filter only pushes it thickly to one side but there is also a thin coat of it on the other side. There seems to be a […]

[Philippines Internet Koi Society] planning to build an indoor pond

HI BERNADETTE,
Before you even decide on where to build your pond, here are a few things you need to know about INDOOR PONDS:
ADVANTAGES OVER OUTDOOR PONDS:
1) Your kois will be protected from predators such as stray cats or thieves. 2) Your pond will be spared from “acid rains” which usually happens during the first rain […]

[AquaticLife] Top Photos (and now Lenny’s recollection of a GREAT dive trip)

When I used to Scuba dive on frequently (back in the 80’s & 90’s), I had two “less expensive” underwater cameras. One used 110 film (shows how long it’s been since I bought that camera) and the other 35mm film… still pretty archaic by today’s standards. One of them was actually a Vivitar […]

[AquaticLife] Live Plants?

I don’t think that would even be cold enough for my local plants, our local weather usually ranges between 30-60 most of the year (spring/fall/some of summer), the highest temp we might see is 80 degrees in the summer, and the lowest is usually in the 10-15 degree range for us. […]

[AquaticLife] Live Plants?

I’ve had success in the same environment you describe. However one day it will go sour & then it’s pretty much back to square one. At least that was my experience, it took about 2 years to do so.

[AquaticLife] Live Plants?

Definitely try Aquabid. I’ve used them a lot in the past and when I get my new kitchen aquarium set up I’m eyeing up some plants myself on there.
Keep in mind that even though you’ve heard plants don’t do well in a UG tank, the plants I have here are doing fantastic in my […]
