Another catfish has died

Carole:
I would strongly recommend removing the fish and then doing a thoroughly deep cleaning of every inch of the substrate vs a total breakdown of your tank. Move and sift through all your gravel (any unaccounted for fish? Any chance a child dropped something in the tank?) Use the Prime and only put treated […]

Filter information

I do a PWC at the same time I clean the filter. I just pop the hose from the pump off the fountain and hang it off the side of the pond to let it drain a little then pull the pre-filter box out, pull the filter media then rinse it off with the draining […]

[AquaticLife] New fishtank coming soon for my “nasty” angel fish ;)

I don’t think he’s mis-identified as they had him labeled “red tailed catfish” at the LFS, but I could be wrong I suppose…. He certainly looks like one to me. I want to bring him back but this week has been way too hectic and I’ve not been off of work in […]

[AquaticLife] The Great Computer Battle!

Regardless of how some people are using Vista and like it, ALL of the computer professionals that I know avoid it and know that it is a failed product AGAIN. Hope is now being had for Windows 7 where as they have tested has cut back on the failures of Vista and is […]

[AquaticLife] The Great Computer Battle!

Hi Troy!   Your points are very valid.  However, we have two dogs to take care of unwelcome guests.  Should that fail I have an old Remington double barrel with an over extended barrel that always works.  A friend remarked once, looking at the barrel, that it looks like to mounted Howitzer with a trigger!   […]
