[AquaticLife] Live Plants?

No snakes, about all I’d have to watch for are mother black bear and cubs. Thankfully they tend to keep their distance most of the time I always told my grandma she should have lived up here, she’s terrified of snakes and lives in the Desert, LOL. And if I brought […]

[AquaticLife] Question about Pearlweed

I was scratching my head wondering what Pearlweed was, then I saw it was Hemianthus micranthemoides. Why didn’t you just say Hemianthus micranthemoides in the first place. LOL
I did a quick Google of Hemianthus micranthemoides looking for some other plant profile pages and I saw in some of the Google summary’s that it’s often […]

betta update

Thanks for the advice. Bella the betta has been rehomed to the 55 gal (yes, I’ve caught MTS) and I think I saw her eating already (from a distance, it could have been a molly).

[AquaticLife] Bowfront Aquarium Question

You’ll not see the bow front in the larger aquariums.
I do not know what […]

[AquaticLife] What is best to get reid of hard water deposits?

If you have fish in the tank, then lower the water level by several inches so you can keep the vinegar dampened rag from going into the water. Any residue of vinegar left […]

Update on the pop-eyed Angelfish

Hi Lenny, I appreciate your long reply, but unfortunately it won’t help a lot. As for turning the filter(s) off during feeding, I already do that in all of my tanks to avoid the loss of too many sinking pieces of food inside the gravel due to the water agiation, and to give […]
