I found another picture on another site of a fish that looked similar that was labeled a “chin chin” so perhaps it’s another kind of carp. I will look later after work, and then try emailing if I find no more info

Look up the bill and read it. It is downright scary. Pretty much, if a species is not listed, it is invasive, and it is a complex process to get through to list a critter, and it is to occur in a very short time span. Read the bill for the particulars.
