[Ponds-Koi] When do you remove bubbler?

Hmmm, I feel your pain! I rode my bicycle to the store today to pick up a few supplies for our Easter gathering with the grandkids and there was SNOW on the ground! ACK! and here I JUST removed my studded snow tires from my bike too!
Once we get the ground unfrozen, I will start with my pond. The Local Petco has TWO big Koi in a teeny tank (because that is what they HAVE available!) that were donated and the Aquatics department head who is a good friend says they are just not doing well. So I am trying to figure out what to do. I may have to go pick up a plastic wading pool and fill it for a temporary haven. then dig the pond and at least TRY to give them a place to live! But I don’t know. NICE looking Koi too!
Anyway, up here when it gets above 40 or so, we get the grill out! I have already grilled Brats once this “spring”.
