Microbe lift will not remove any sludge, muck or decaying matter. Microbe lift is a collection of “good bacteria” that helps colonize your bio filter to kick start the nitrification process. The best way to stop the build up of muck is to do weekly cleanings. It’s easier to do a quick clean once a week than to do it all at once. Ponds are a HUGE maintenance item. They cannot be left to just sit and look pretty for they will not stay that way.
