[Ponds-Koi] Koi scratching on rocks - Help
Do you have a bigger pond or plans for one? A 150G pond is not nearly large enough for even one Koi. You could have a couple of goldfish as long as you do proper maintenance on it.
Tell us more about your pond and fish. Do you have any filtration? How many fish and what size are they? How long has the pond been set up? What are your water parameters… ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, hardness, temperature, etc.?
The scratching is likely due to some type of parasite but unless you have plans for a much larger pond.. 500G per Koi… then no matter what you do, you will always have health issues with your fish since fish get severely stressed out when they are overstocked or in an undersized home and when fish get stressed, they get sick.
