[Ponds-Koi] Foam and clear Water
No problems with the pH. Goldfish prefer higher pH and a higher pH is usually associated with a higher GH and KH level which is good to keep the pH stable between PWC’s so you don’t have a pH crash.
I’m concerned about your nitrate results though. It’s very unusual to have 0.0ppm nitrates since they are the end product of the nitrogen cycle.. except for in a very heavily planted tank/pond or a pond with advanced filtration methods. It’s good to have 0.0ppm ammonia and nitrites which means the nitrogen cycle is working but with all those fish and the water quality issues you recently had, I’m worried your test kit may not be accurate. You should get a second opinion on your water test results. Does your fish store do free testing? What brand test kit do you have?
