Planting medium
I’ve had good results with 100% plain gravel, though some here would beg to differ. Gravel doesn’t cloud up the water like soil does. Once the gravel substrate gets enough gunk inside it my waterlilies grow like crazy. But it takes a while for that happen (fish has to poop first). If you’re looking for fast results it’s probably not for you.
