pH issues
hey all, still haveing ph issues…..and i’m really puzzled. i took the pH of my tap water it’s 8.8 right out of the tap. after i add water conditioner to it it drops to 8.4. then when i put it in my 55 gal tank (there are no fish in it yet). it immediatly plummets to 6.4. i’m very very confused. the crushed coral in my filter is not raising the pH. i am going to add some holey rock. any ideas on why my pH would drop so much in my tank??? the KH is still to low to measure.
