Over planted tank???
Hello All
So I recently had some new angel fish I boiught die in my 90 gallon planted tank PH is 6.5 KH and GH are low.
In consulting with ther guy who sold me the angels, he indicated that he thought one of the problems is that there are too many plants in the tank.
He felt that over night the plants produce Co2 and by morning this could build up to the point the fish would die(if they where stressed from tansport already)
Is there any truth to this?
the tank has a wet dry filter which I understand caused a lot of gas exchange. so I am not sure the C02 theory is plausible
any thoughts?
