Other pond fish compatible with Koi?

NOT CATFISH!
The other gentleman is correct. They get big and eat everything.
To the best of my knowledge, there is not a single type of catfish, that will live outdoors in most of the US, that will not get to at least 50-60 lbs if not fried first. They get BIG! They EAT! EVERYTHING!
BTW, another application for symbiotic pond-mates - we are in the greater Atlanta area and have rainbow dace in with our koi. They are pretty little fish - most look at them and think that they are minnows. They get along well with the koi and have been growing in numbers slowly but steadily - but not too many = just right. They main thing about them is that they LOVE to eat mosquito larvae. Great addition!
