OT for Ray
Remote access can be a risky route to take with Ray’s apparent problems. He reports that he loses his messages prior to sending. Whether this is an Internet connection problem through his ISP, or related to something n the machine remains to be discovered. This is why it is best to have someone on site to diagnose and, maybe, fix the problem. The other option is to look for a computer to replace his own machine right now. A decent home machine can be had for about $600, and, if you look in the right places, will come with XP Pro installed and not that god awful Vista being foisted upon the public.
FWIW, the worst of it is incompatibilities with older software and hardware.
