OT for Ray

I concur. Trying to diagnose and repair a machine without seeing things first hand gets tricky. I always just head over to a friends or relatives when they call me rather than trying to fix things over the phone.
Logmein.com or other similar free apps do allow techies to access a person’s computer for remote fixing if the frisky computer will allow the installation and there is internet access. Windows XP and up also has a remote login program built in but I do not have experience with it. \Steve// might offer more info on the Windows app. I like Logmein.com so I can use my main desktop computer directly from my laptop when I’m out in the streets.
Fish… LOL
