new/used tanks
hello everyone and happy new year!just asking a question re setting up some tanks that i purchased used. what is the best way, ie;to rise the gravel, clean the tank, and clean the filters. the stuff hasn’t been in water for a while. i wasn’t sure if i treat it thesame as buying it new or if there are certain things i should be aware of when buying used stuff compared to new. i have been reading the posts on here for a while and you people give very good advice/ideas without “trying to sell me needless stuff”like most lfs do. thanks, trish
