missing fish mystery solved
hey guys, so i go into my living room this morning and i look into my tank and i am down to 3 cardinal tetras (from the original 7)…..well in looking around for them i think i have figured it out. i think they have been sucked into my canister filter. i saw one’s head (very much dead) poking out of the intake tube. it has a cover on it to keep large things out, but it lookes like they were just small enough to get in. when i get home today i will have to open up the filter and i am sure i will find 4 dead fish in there. what should i do to keep this from happening again? i have a spare media bag, i was thinking of tying it to the filter intake. does that sound like a good idea? thanks, marcelo
