It looks like i have some success.. i just tested my nitrates and so far it looks to be btween 10 ppm and 20 ppm and that is with a so called ‘overstocked’ tank of goldfish.. i will admit i gotten slightly more diligent with my water changes.. plus having an algae eater to help get the excessive algae growth is a plus too… all fish are happy in the tank..
