Looking Koi(Steuben Co NY)
Hi Dennis, Thanks for responding to my post. My 2 Koi are about 14 inches. I didn’t realize it would be so expensive to buy another that size. I do remember seeing posts from time to time for people looking to find homes for their pond fish for the winter. I guess I am looking at the wrong time of the year.
Awhile ago I tried to add some smaller goldfish to the pond. I did some research and read that koi generally don’t consume other smaller fish around them. Well, as soon as I put the put the poor little goldfish in, they were dinner. Is that unusual, or was I given bad information? How large would any addition have to be before my guys won’t snack on them?
