Im sorry I have ADHD! brackish water set up

I dont have any PH problem in my tanks but I wanted to know if the higher ph values where something that I did or was it a fluke that I got the brackish tank in the area that I wanted.
My Ph at the tap is 6.8 24 hours its between 6.8-7.0. I do have a GE smart water filter on the main waterline coming into my house. I have an over abundance of iron in my water (South Shore problem), so I just have the basic mineral filter in it. I dont have it set up to remove sand, silt or chlorine as it get clogged up faster.
To make the brackish water I mix 2 tbsp per gallon of dechlor water and I end up with a salinity of 1.006.
LFS said Limestone but SCWA website comnfirms that it is Lime that is added
