How long to establish a new filter?
Hi guys,
This is my first post but I’ve been a member for quite a while. I have a 60L tank with a pair of Kribs. The other day I bought a new filter (internal sponge with power head) to replace a smaller one of the same type. I’ve left the old filter in, but was just wondering roughly how long it will take my new filter to establish with good bacteria?
One other quick question, would you recommend I test water chemistry before or after my weekly PWC?
