Guppy tragedy…


If you have room to upgrade to a larger tank that is really the best thing to do. Contrary to the beginner’s myth, a large tank is actually easier to care for. The small volume of water in a small tank lets things happen too fast. But caution here. A “large” tank is relative, also. If you overcrowd the “large” tank, you are going to have the same problem on a larger scale. If you keep the same amount of fish you have and put them in a larger tank, then it would be much easier to maintain. The whole idea is to give the fish enough room. Regular PWCs are still a must no matter the size of the tank.
