Guppies and Brackish water
We actually put salt in all our live-bearer breeding to make it a little brackish.We dont measure the salt level anymore, its like more of an additional component in the water, plus a little chlorine. The chlorine takes care of the parasites.
For angels, chlorinated water is good. We breed them in 10 gal aquariums, by pairs, no aeration, no substrate and no plants..just the clay bricks where they lay their eggs. We collect the bricks after they have laid their eggs, and hatch the eggs in separate aquarium. After 3 wks, they start laying eggs again.
