Foam and clear Water
Ok, now my pond is doing some funky stuff.
This morning when I left for work the surface of my pond was completely covered in foam, it looked like my fish were doing their dishes.
When I got home the sun had burned off most of the foam and the pea soup water that I have had all year long has completely cleared up. I mean it is crystal clear. I can see all the way to the bottom and see all the babies. I have a lot more than I thought I did.
Now that the Algae has all died I think that it what cause the extra foam. I plan another PWC tomorrow night.
I hope I can keep it clear for a while.
I can now see a different kind of algae. I have this fuzzy green algae that is about a half to 3/4 of an inch long growing all over everything. It is on the pump, filter and even on the stalks of the Lilly leaves.
Is this “Good. Bad or just ugly”? I have seen this in natural lakes before nut I have never had it in my pond before.
