fin rot?

I am not sure if I asked about this problem but I have a 12″ white butterfly Koi with a notch about the size of 1/2 of a dime. It is pink around the open edges. It has not healed or gotten worse in about 4 weeks.
Our pond is part in and part out of the ground approximately 17 X 7 feet and around 1600 gallons. We have a fountain pump and a larger pump that goes through a bio filter with UV light and runs down about 8 feet of waterfalls.
I checked Nitrates, Nitrites, PH (always high with our well water) Oxygen which are all correct and our salt level was raised to .1 or is it .01? My test kit said to add several cups for the correct level with plantings in the pond.
The fish eats and swims all the time with the other fish and does not appear to be in stress.
I worry about trying to net the fish and treat the wound as I think I may have caused the problem when I netted all the fish to do clean up on the pond. The fish had no wound before then.
