fin rot?


Judith, I have had some experience with medicated fish food, and the type that did the best job on surface (skin) ulcers was Debride Rx sinking medicated food. You can read about it here (see link).

You should use it in conjunction with a topical or pond treatment. My koi are used to floating food but it didn’t take more than a day before they learned to hit the bottom of their basin when I started feeding this to them, and, except for two unfortunate losses that were too far gone when I began treating them I have had success with this medication the two times I’ve had to resort to it.
