fin rot?

Whom ever told you Melafix doesn’t work on open wounds is incorrect. If the treatment/applications of Melafix are done correctly and continued as suggested, it is very good for healing open wounds. The Parasite Green I mentioned is also very good for treating open sores/ wounds. Another very good medication you can try is “Hikari Bio Bandage Gel”. With both Parasite Green and Bio Bandage Gel, it’s best to remove the fish from the pond, treat the wound, then release it back into the pond. Parasite Green can also be used to treat the whole pond while Bio Bandage can’t.

If I can treat the fish in the pond, I would prefer it. Should I put Melafix into the pond? Is Parasite Green the same as Malachite Green? There are some products that have that and Formalin together.
Are there any good medicated foods for fin rot? I can likely feed this fish by hand. It comes up to my hand for food sometimes.
