I would like to echo Lori and her point about enjoying this group. I don’t always have anything meaningful to add to the discussion, but I want to tell you all how MUCH I enjoy my fish and this group. I find myself looking at my small Koi and Goldfish. (yes, I LOVE Goldfish too!) They seem to be personable, they seem to know when I am around, and they are lovely to watch. My biggest “failing” is that I like to have too many of them. My tanks are too small for the numbers of fish that I have and the urge to add a new and wonderful fish is almost overwhelming! I have to FIGHT myself to not pick up every beautiful fish I see and bring it home!
I am lucky..A couple of friends either own pet shops or work there. (my middle daughter’s best friend from as far back as 3rd grade is the Aquatics manager at the local petco! another of our friends owns another store that specializes in fish)
I will make mistakes….I just hope that I don’t destroy my fish! they are pretty and they are relaxing, and I die a little when one dies. Happily, my tanks are doing fairly well! I LOVE the way Goldfish GROW! how cool is that!
