Diagnosing problem
We’re newbies to the koi world. I just noticed that the inside of the lower mouth to one of our koi is pinkish red, a little bigger than a quarter. I just noticed it when he opens his mouth to eat the pellets. It doesn’t appear to be an open sore. I think he’s eating ok. There was a bee in the pond a week or so ago, could it be he got stung? Or is it just an infection? Do veterinarians see fish? Any help you could give us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks JT
