Cloudy Tank

2 of my planted tanks had extreme cloudiness. First thing you do is..
25% water changes daily and vacume the gravel. (Until cloudiness goes away then space it out every 2-3 days..then weekly.)
Do not overfeed your fish.
Check your filter for sludge or muck build-up (Dont clean to thouroghly tho)
If you have plants remove any dead leaves or debris.
(If its a bacteria bloom…-Greyish cloudy water-) Add nitrifying bacteria. (I use Nite-Out ll. You can find it at http://www.drsfostersmith.com) Works great.
(If its -Greenish cloudy water you have an algae bloom)
Next…the best product I have found for cloudy water is called “Algone” which can be found at.. http://www.algone.com Works Great!
My tanks were so bad that I couldnt see my fish. I did all of the above and now my tanks are crystal clear. ………………. Mark
