Can someone please help this dummy lol-pump ?
Hi everyone. We have a 1,500 gallon pond. Right now I have a Calpump model 4500 pond pump for the waterfall and first it goes through a TetraPRF-4000 with UV filter. The pond is pretty clear BUT my question is, the waterfall is about 6 ft of the ground total including 2 ft of water and up around the back of the falls, and I was wondering if it is too much on the filter to be going through that quickly.
We have 1 1/2″ tubing throughout… I have a ball valve, should I put that on and cut the flow down? Isn’t it better for the water to pass through the UV slower to really work
