So, Herman it is! I’m glad Steve at least narrowed it down a bit, as I’ve never seen this fish before. Not wanting to appear dumb, I did not want to be the first to venture a guess. If I were pressed for an answer, I would have guessed it was a new import of a Lake Tanganyika Cichlid as it has features of that diverse group — and was actually what I thought it was (although not having a clue as to its possible species). It does look similar to some Neolamprologus, also having long ventrals of Ophthalmochromis and Cunningtonia. Well, sharing these similarities with distantly related marine fish, at least it may be reasonable to assume its in the Order Perciformes even if a species name can’t be I.D.’d. Ray
