betta tank heater
ok so since you helped me identify the limpets (all now named “the incredible mr.”, I don’t think anyone older than me will miss the reference, but my hubby didn’t get it sooo… who knows) maybe you can help me with this. I rescued two bettas from walmart (yes I know not really rescue when you purchase but they were the last two, beyond pathetic sitting in some of the nastiest water I’ve seen, i wasn’t there for bettas). One is in with my frogs and the other is in a 2.5 gallon aquarium. I’ve looked at those little flat heaters they sell for small tanks but wonder if they would keep him warm enough or perhaps too warm. The heat in our house is set at 72 but I can’t swear thats what it is, it might be more like 68 in here (she says as she sits wrapped in a blanket wearing fuzzy pajamas, and a big fluffy robe). Do these work well and will it work well enough to keep him comfortable through my frigid winter and if i leave it in the tank through the summer when my house gets to 78 will it make him too warm?
