I know you are limited to available medicines in the UK but pop-eye is a symptom of an internal bacterial infection. You should treat the fish with antibiotic food and treat the water column with an antibiotic. I’m not sure what is available over there but hopefully you have a knowledgeable LFS that has a variety of meds.
